Winterbourne House was constructed in 1903 as an estate house owned by John and Margaret. It was designed with lots of gardens in it because Margaret was inspired by the plants and its variety. She grows the massive species of plants taking help from books written on plants species. This Botanic Garden, after passing through number of ownerships, now is the property of University of Birmingham. This Botanic Garden is opened for both i.e. Public for entertainment and Students of Universities for study and research of plants.
