Situated in a beautiful park is this unique museum. The People’s Palace has a fantastic setting in the Glasgow Green alongside the river Clyde. The building of the museum is quite imposing and has a glass house attached at the back. It is a social history museum and offers an in-depth look at the lives of the locals. There are plenty of artifacts and provide a great learning experience about the life in Glasgow from the 18th century till today. There is an amazing fountain named ‘The Doulton Fountain’ that is situated in front of the People’s Palace. It is the largest terracotta fountain in the world. The Winter Gardens next to the People’s Palace house a variety of tropical plants.
