Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park is located on Cannon Hill (formally known as Birmingham Zoo). This wildlife park attracts thousands of visitors per year due to number of endangered captive animals in the Zoo. Birmingham Zoo is responsible for effective breeding of rare animals in their captivity. Red Pandas, Colombian Black Spider Monkeys, Golden Lion Tamarins and many other animals are among them. Parents are highly encouraged to bring their children to the zoo to increase their knowledge of such rare animals.
