Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is located at Chamberlain Square. It has 50 meters tall building constructed in 1885 and was later extended twice in 1908 and 1917 respectively. Though interiors are very much modern now but the structure of the building still reflects the history itself. It has total of 40 galleries which represents the ancient artifacts of different culture & religion, paintings which belongs to several renowned artists and most importantly belongings of national importance. Birmingham museum management conduct several events, some of them require pre bookings, so don’t for to book even through their site before visiting. They also offer a special museum education program in which they arrange sessions in which they explains history of artifacts, paintings and statues placed in 200 boxes of Birmingham museum.
